Committees

Since we are such a large community, the community decided to form committees to help support the board with many of the challenges a large complex brings. Both homeowners and renters are invited to participate. If you would like to join one of the committees, fill out the form below.

Water, Lawn, & Snow Committee: Duties include
  • Report broken or malfunctioning sprinklers to the board
  • Watch for water-logged areas
  • Suggest possible improvements on landscaping
  • Monitor exteriors of buildings for damages/defects
  • Inspect mowing, weeds, and snow removal for quality and consistency

Parking Committee:
Duties Include
  • Monitor all parking areas to ensure compliance
  • Issue and record warnings (i.e. citations) for parking violations
  • Contact towing company to remove vehicles and trailers in violation
  • General traffic safety (reporting speeding vehicles, dangerous driving, etc.)

Clubhouse Committee:
Duties Include
  • Regular maintenance checks (daily, if possible)
  • Regular cleaning of clubhouse (preferably weekly)
  • Maintenance of all exercise equipment, toys, and kitchen appliances
  • Respond to alarms

Compliance Committee:
Duties Include
  • Identify residents out of compliance with zoning laws (more than two last names living at a single residence)
  • Report to the board and the City of Rexburg (Natalie Schneider, compliance officer) violations of the Single Family Residential zone
  • Work together with city ordinance officers to mitigate violations
  • Inform and educate residents about animal regulations
  • Respond to complaints under the direction of the board member responsible for compliance

Communications Committee
: Duties Include

  • Keep residents informed about current events through the website, posters, flyers, or mail
  • Organize, update, and share the Meadows email list
  • Organize community contests (i.e. best decorations for appropriate holidays such as Halloween, Christmas, The 4th of July, etc.)
  • Organize community play days or city-sponsored block parties (BYOM (bring your own meat) grilling parties, kid game days, etc.)
  • Organize sports tournaments (3-on-3 basketball, volleyball, futsal) for members of the community
  • Schedule workout groups or playdates at the clubhouse
  • Help with the quarterly newsletter
