The HOA provides insurance for the outside of the buildings, the clubhouse, and all common areas. It provides coverage for “Sheetrock –
Out”. It does not cover any property (sheetrock – in) for the individual unit owners. It does not cover any plumbing or electrical problems. It does
not cover maintenance or wear & tear. It also provides General Liability Coverage for the Common Areas owned by the HOA. This policy provides coverage for The Meadows Homeowners Association as the named insured. It does not provide any coverage for the individual unit owners. It is very important that each unit owner have their own Property & Liability Coverage in place to protect their financial interest in their unit. Each unit owner should have a Condo Unit Owner Policy in place for the inside of their townhouse. This includes, but is not limited to, personal items, carpet, paint, floors, walls, appliances, etc.
