Settling Into the Neighborhood
The HOA Board welcomes you as a new owner or resident at the Meadows. To help you get settled in the community, we have compiled the following information to answer some common questions and provide general information about The Meadows.
- The Meadows is zoned Medium Density Residential 1 (MDR1) as per the City of Rexburg's official zoning map, which provides for single-family dwellings. This means dormitory style living is not allowed. Click here for more information.
- Shortly after moving into The Meadows, owners will receive a letter from the managing agent of The Meadows informing you about HOA fees, including when and how to make payments. More info here. If you are renting your unit at The Meadows, this does not apply.
- Each unit at The Meadows is allotted two (2) parking spaces only. A parking permit is required for all residents of The Meadows, which you should have received from the previous owner (or your property manager if you are renting). Permits need to be visibly displayed from the rearview mirror of your vehicle. Please review the Parking Regulations and the official parking map for more information.
- If you have a domesticated pet, please become familiar with your responsibilities as a pet owner at The Meadows by reviewing the Pet Regulations.
- For satellite service at The Meadows, please contact Axiom Property Management at 208-516-5600 for approved providers. The HOA regulates the amount of hardware placed on unit roofs to reduce the amount of damage to building roofs. Please review the TV & Internet Service regulations for more information.
- For Internet service at The Meadows, there are three approved options for providers: CenturyLink, Big Dog High Speed Internet, and Optix. Additional hardware from other service providers is not permitted on the buildings, and violations are punishable by fine. Please review the TV & Internet Service regulations for more information.
- Garbage is currently picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays. Place your refuse in bags before depositing it in the dumpsters. If a dumpster is full, take your trash to another dumpster that is not full. DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE NEXT TO THE DUMPSTER OR THE CITY WILL NOT EMPTY THAT DUMPSTER. - Littering is not permitted at The Meadows and is punishable by fine. Littering may include leaving garbage outside your unit, leaving mail on the floor or on top of the mailboxes in the mail room, or leaving wrappers, packing, etc. in the common area such as playgrounds.
